The brakes originally on these machines were designed for
2-3 PLI tension at 650 FPM. Different brakes may be required
for more severe operation. In that case, shaft #50-410-X may

Self-loading type unit, specifications per print
No. 50-444. Maximum capacity is 60" diameter x
up to 98" width; 700 F.P.M. Stand equipped with
two (2), Montalvo #804, air cooled, air actuated
brakes (plant air 75 P.S.I.).
Roll loading/unloading, roll clamp/unclamp, in and
out via pushbutton with additional pushbuttons on
back column of stand to load/unload, roll clamp and
unclamp. Electrically driven, hydraulic pumping
system for standard plant voltages.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
Koil Kord self-storing electrical cable to extend roll stand a maximum of
25 feet in travel; complete with male plug and female receptacle.
Fabricated track for floor flush installation. Greene Line Manufacturing will custom build Roll Stands to your
specifications and we will guarantee it to meet the specifications.
